How It Works
Our approach to tutoring is student-centred, focusing on the student's specific needs and goals, and adapting their teaching methods accordingly. Our goal is to help every student succeed academically, build confidence, and develop a love for learning. Every achievement and milestone is celebrated along the way!
1 / Initial Consultation
Contact us for a FREE 15-minute consultation call where we will discuss student needs, goals, interests, and any specific areas of focus. We will gather information about the student's learning style, school curriculum, and any challenges they may be facing.
2 / Personalized Assessment
After the consultation, we will conduct a personalized assessment to identify the student's strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement. The conduction of this assessment allows for a comprehensive learning plan tailored to the student's specifics needs and goals.
3 / Scheduling
All tutoring sessions will be scheduled via email. Student availability will be discussed during the initial consultation call. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy lifestyles, including evenings and weekends, to ensure convenience for both students and parents.
4 / Online & In-Person Delivery
Tutoring sessions can be delivered online (virtual) and in-person (at home). Please note, that at this time sessions are being offered in-person for students located in York and Durham Region, and surrounding areas. Please contact me if you are interested in in-person tutoring and would like to know if your location falls within my pre-defined service region.

Online tutoring sessions will be conducted using a web-based video conferencing platform, Google Meet. This secure online platform uses virtual whiteboards to to provide students with interactive and engaging lessons real-time. Google Meet allows for screen sharing, making it easy to present learning materials, slides or interactive resources. Google Meet is supported by multi-platforms, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. At the time of scheduling, students will be sent a secure meeting link that they will use at the time of their tutoring sessions.
5 / Progress Monitoring & Continuous Support
Student's progress and growth throughout the tutoring program will be regularly tracked, and their learning plan will be adjusted as needed. Student (and parent(s)) will be provided on-going feedback to stay informed about their achievements and areas for improvement. Students will be offered various additional resources, including practice materials, educational tools, and recommendations for further enrichment.
