I’m also passionate about healthy living and fitness, and I strive to create a positive, engaging environment tailored to each child’s needs. Hi, I'm Chanel! I'm a certified OCT teacher in the DCDSB for Grades 7–12 and I previously taught in Alberta for several years. Although I’m currently teaching in the elementary panel, I have extensive experience at the high school level as well. I specialize in Grades 7–12 English, Grades 7–12 History, Social Sciences, and Indigenous learning, which is approached with respect and a learner’s mindset. I’m passionate about essay writing, textual interpretation, and integrating real-world contexts to deepen understanding and engagement. As well, I enjoy guiding students in creating personalized routines and organizational habits that foster their success. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me with my dog, creating art, or paddling in my canoe.

Hello there! I'm Erin. I have an undergraduate degree in Linguistics and am currently completing my Master’s in Psychotherapy. My studies have shaped the way I approach tutoring-through curiosity, compassion, and a focus on how each student uniquely processes information.
Alongside my academic journey, I’ve worked with students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, supporting them in Math, English, and Science. I’ve also taught beginner levels of American Sign Language to students ranging from Grade 1-4. I specialize in working with students across all grades, especially Grades 5–10, and I love creating a supportive space where students feel confident and engaged. When I’m not tutoring, you can find me outdoors, exploring creative outlets, or continuing my education in mental health.
