Study with Sarah (& Friends!) was founded out of a deep belief that learning should feel supportive, personalized, and build student's confidence in their own abilities to succeed.
Approaches to learning are not meant to be overwhelming or one-size-fits-all.
I’m Sarah, the founder of Study with Sarah (& Friends!), and my passion for education comes from years of working closely with students and families and seeing firsthand how the right kind of support can change a student’s relationship with learning.

Through my background in Child Growth and Development and Doctoral-level education, and over 10 years of experience working with students of varying ages, abilities, and learning styles, I began to notice a consistent gap: many students weren’t struggling because they lacked ability, they were struggling because they lacked individualized support, confidence, and the opportunity to learn in a way that made sense to them.
Study with Sarah (& Friends!) was created to address that gap.
Collaboration with Families
A key part of our philosophy is collaboration with parents and caregivers.
Learning doesn’t happen in isolation, and meaningful progress often comes from strong communication and shared understanding between tutors, students, and families.
We work alongside parents to:

This collaborative approach allows us to support students more holistically and sustainably.
Looking Ahead
​Study with Sarah (& Friends!) has grown into a team-based tutoring service made up of dedicated educators, teacher candidates, Ontario Certified Teachers (OCTs), and subject-matter specialists who share a common goal: helping students feel capable, confident, and supported in their learning.
