PRE K - ELEMENTARY - Accepting new students
Jennifer - Stouffville / Uxbridge
Jen has been teaching in Early Childhood Education for several years with focus on preschool children and elementary students. She brings many years of experience focusing on phonics, early reading skills, writing and basic math. Jen brings a passion for supporting young students and their goals as they start setting the foundation to their education through interactive, encouraging, meaningful and fun sessions.

Dan - Cobourg / Surrounding Areas
Dan prides himself on being a well-rounded individual, and wants to help the next generation achieve that. He holds a bachelors degree in materials engineering, a masters in nuclear engineering, and is in the final stages of completing his doctorate in planetary science. He can support students in all STEM-related courses including maths, physics, and chemistry. Dan brings enthusiasm, compassion, and creativity to helping students understand the world around us.

Kim - Lindsay / Surrounding Areas
Kim is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 25 years of experience. She spent her career helping students of all ages, from primary through intermediate grades, discover a love of learning. She holds specialist certifications in both Special Education and Reading. She works with children who have Individual Education Plan (IEP)s to ensure they receive the exact accommodations and tailored support they need to thrive. Kim doesn't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, she looks closely at how your child learns best so she can provide targeted, step-by-step coaching that builds their confidence and skills in both math and language.

Claire - Uxbridge / Surrounding Areas
Claire is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with experience supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Her main teachable subjects are English and History, with a particular focus on students in Grades 8–12, and she also has tutoring and classroom experience across all subject areas including math, science (Gr 1-6) and reading, writing, and language (Gr 1-8). She brings a supportive, patient, and student-centred approach to tutoring, and is passionate about helping learners feel more capable, prepared, and successful.

James is a Chemical Engineering student (minoring in Bioengineering) with a strong background in math and science. He supports secondary school students in math (including functions, advanced functions, and calculus), biology, chemistry, and physics. James focuses on building intuitive understanding rather than memorization, helping students by connecting concepts to real-world applications and breaking complex problems into clear and logical steps.

Shelby is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) who works with students in primary grades (1-4) with a strong focus on literacy and foundational math skills, and writing. Shelby is patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping young learners build confidence and strong academic foundations in an engaging environment.

Gerard is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Accounting. He supports students in grades 9–12 in Math, Physics, Business, and Computer Science. With four years of youth leadership experience, Gerard is committed to creating an encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and mastering challenging concepts.

Samuel - Stouffville / Markham
Sam is a third-year university student majoring in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Biology. He supports students from elementary to high school, with a primary focus on Grade 9 and 10 math, Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus, Data Management, Grade 11 Biology, and Grade 12 Biology. He strives to make students feel comfortable asking questions, while helping them build both their understanding and confidence.

Emma - Stouffville / Markham
Emma is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with experience teaching students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. They support students in social
studies, English (reading and writing), and French. Emma is passionate about educating students with neurodiversities and learning difficulties, tailoring the learning experience to the individual and their interests. They believe that all students are capable learners that simply need unique strategies applied according to their lived experience.

Vanessa - Whitby / Surrounding Areas
Vanessa is a Certified Athletic Therapist working at an independent high school, where she supports students' health, well-being, and success. With a strong background in kinesiology and health sciences, she tutors elementary students in reading, writing, and English, and supports students from elementary through high school in math and science. She is committed to helping students develop confidence, independence, and strong study habits while achieving academic success.

Sam is a fourth-year Bachelor of English Literature student at Queen's University. She is passionate about language arts and the humanities, and aspires to become a Professor of Literature. She supports students from kindergarten to grade 12 in reading, writing, and all things English. She also supports students (Kindergarten to Grade 4) in early/foundational math. Sam believes in making education accessible and fun, and hopes to foster a safe learning environment for kids to feel supported.

Sharon is an Intermediate/Senior teacher (OCT) specializing in Biology and Chemistry. She has experience working with students from JK to Grade 12, supporting them with math, literacy, and science. Sharon is a lifelong learner who is passionate about encouraging students and making them feel comfortable, while helping them build confidence and strengthen their understanding. She enjoys connecting concepts to real-world examples so learning feels relevant and easier to understand.

Hania is currently completing her final Early Childhood Education (ECE) placement and is continuing her studies, as she works toward becoming an elementary school teacher. Hania specializes in English, History, Art, and Science, and especially loves bringing learning to life through fun science experiments. Believing children learn best through play and understands that every child is unique, creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel confident and excited to learn.

Gina is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 20 years of experience teaching in the elementary grades. She supports students in early reading skills, reading comprehension, and writing, using personalized strategies to support each child’s academic and personal growth. Her extensive classroom experience allows her to quickly identify learning gaps and support steady progress.

Saleena is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 15 years of experience and a Master of Education. She supports students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 across reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, using individualized approaches that support unique learning styles while fostering confidence and a love of learning.

Isabella - Stouffville
Isabella is a Teacher Candidate in her first year of a Bachelor of Education program, with a background in Health Sciences. She supports students in math (up to Grade 9), as well as general English, writing, science, biology, and chemistry, making learning engaging and approachable while helping students build confidence and experience meaningful “aha” moments.

Arin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Education, with plans to pursue Ontario Certification in the future. She supports students in elementary English and essay writing (to Gr 8), math (to Gr 11), an senior-level biology, using creative and interdisciplinary approaches to help students understand concepts in meaningful and engaging ways.

Elanna holds degrees in English, Linguistics, and French and is currently working in Early Childhood Education. She supports students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 10, with a strong focus on language, literacy, math foundational skills and writing. Elanna enjoys helping students develop strong communication skills and confidence through language-based learning.

Shirley is a junior–intermediate teacher (OCT) with the York Region District School Board, with over 20 years of experience in education. Her primary teachable is math, and she is dedicated to building strong foundational skills that help students gain confidence and excel academically. Shirley brings a supportive and encouraging approach to her work with students.

Thiveya holds a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology and is currently pursuing a path toward becoming a teacher. She supports elementary and middle school students across English, literacy, math, science, and homework support, breaking down concepts into clear and digestible pieces. Thiveya creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment that helps students build confidence and stay engaged in their learning.

Erin - Stouffville
Erin holds an undergraduate degree in Linguistics and is currently completing a Master’s in Psychotherapy. She supports students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in math (up to gr 10), English (up to gr 12), and science (up to gr 9), with additional experience teaching beginner American Sign Language (Grades 1–4). Erin brings a compassionate, student-centred approach to her work, creating a supportive environment where learners—particularly those in Grades 5–10—feel confident and engaged.
